Prof. Ajogwu Delivers Inaugural Lecture

On Friday, 20th November 2015 Prof. Fabian Ajogwu delivered his inaugural lecture titled ‘Corporate Governance and Company Law: Decoupling Ownership from Management in the Pursuit of Profit’.

Fabian Ajogwu is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and currently a professor of Corporate Governance at Lagos Business School, where he has been teaching Business Law, Negotiation and Corporate Governance for well over 16 years. He has written over 10 books, published numerous articles in peer-reviewed academic and professional journals, and developed case studies and technical notes used at a number of the School’s programmes. His current research interests include professional ethics, mergers and acquisitions, and arbitration of commercial disputes.

Professor Ajogwu has his first degree in Law (LL.B) from the University of Nigeria, a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) from the University of Lagos, an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona, and a PhD from University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
