PAU is not only concerned about the academic well-being of students but also concerned about their total well-being. That is why we encourage our students to be involved in sporting activities. There are different sports facilities on campus and within the halls of residence.
There are two main yearly competitions for football players- battle of the co-hurts and Coupe De Escrivá. The battle of the co-hurts is a competition the football coaches use to select players for the Coupe De Escrivá competition. The teams are picked at random through ballot papers.
Coupe de Escrivá
Coupe de Escrivá is a 7 week intensive football tournament that brings everyone in Pan-Atlantic University together. It is an event put together by students with the support of different units of the University. Since its inception, it has left behind memories that embody the spirit of sportsmanship. The tournament was put on hold last year due to restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with the release of COVID-19 safety guidelines for resuming sporting activities on campus, the tournament was re-started in April, 2021.
PAU has a standard basketball court open to all students as both a medium of recreation and healthy competitions.
