Cafeteria Manager

The Cafeteria Manager will oversee the daily operations of the cafeteria, ensuring high-quality food service, exceptional customer satisfaction, and a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves managing kitchen and dining staff, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring efficient inventory and cost control. The Cafeteria Manager will also foster inclusivity by accommodating diverse dietary preferences and creating an environment where everyone feels valued.

 Operations Management
Plan, organize, and oversee daily cafeteria operations, including meal preparation and service
for events.
 Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise cafeteria staff, ensuring optimal performance and adequate shift
coverage.
 Menu Planning
Develop menus that align with customer preferences and nutritional standards, ensuring
compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
 Inventory and Procurement
Manage inventory levels, coordinate with the procurement team for supplies, and conduct
regular stock checks.
 Budget and Financial Oversight

Monitor cafeteria expenses, analyze sales data, and implement cost-saving measures to stay within budget.
 Customer Service
Ensure a high standard of customer service by addressing feedback and resolving complaints promptly.
 Health and Safety Compliance
Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and staff training.
 Administrative Duties
Maintain records on sales, inventory, and staff performance, preparing reports on operational efficiency and profitability.

 Minimum qualification – HND or BSc in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Catering Management, or other related field.
 Professional certification is an added advantage.

 Strong understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
 Proficiency in inventory management and budget control.
 Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle a fast-paced environment.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, customers,
and vendors.
 Ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
