The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) is dedicated to:

As the first Nigerian university to partner with the Mastercard Foundation on this transformative initiative, we are committed to empowering and educating 650 Mastercard Foundation Scholars over the next ten years.
Applicants who:
- Demonstrate academic excellence
- Demonstrate leadership potential
- Demonstrate financial need
- Are young women interested in STEM programmes
- Are internally displaced young people
- Are young people with disabilities
- Demonstrate commitment to giving back to their community.
- Must have passed WAEC/ NECO/ GCE/ NABTEB with 5 credits including English and Mathematics and three other subjects in Arts, Sciences and Social Science in not more than two sittings.
- UTME Minimum Score of 220 (The required UTME subjects are English Language and any three of Social Science, Arts or Science subjects)

Step 1: Meet the Academic Requirements
- Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings.
Step 2: Fill Out the Application Interest Form
- Interested candidates who DO NOT have their UTME result should complete the Interest Form to indicate their desire to apply and begin the screening process.
Step 3: Write the JAMB UTME
- Applicants must sit for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board – Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (JAMB UTME).
- A minimum score of 220 is required to proceed to the next stage.
Step 4: Complete the Online Application Form
- Eligible candidates who have the CURRENT year UTME results should complete the application form, providing personal, academic, and background information, including documentation.
Step 5: Screening and Shortlisting for Interviews
- Applications are reviewed for alignment with eligibility and Scholars Program goals.
- Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview, which may be held in-person or virtually, depending on location and circumstance.
Step 6: Admission and Scholarship Award
- Successful candidates will be notified of admission into Pan-Atlantic University and a formal scholarship award offer under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.
- Indicate Interest (Awaiting UTME): Candidates with a minimum of five O’Level credits (including Mathematics and English Language in no more than two sittings) who do not yet have their UTME results should fill out this form.
- Begin Application (UTME Ready): Candidates with both five O’Level credits (including Mathematics and English Language within two sittings) AND a minimum UTME score of 220 in the current year should click here to start their application now.
