Pan-Atlantic University in collaboration with Ashesi University is set to Host Nigerian Institutions Meeting on the Education Collaborative

Pan-Atlantic University, in collaboration with Ashesi University, is pleased to invite leading higher education institutions in Nigeria to participate in the upcoming meeting of The Education Collaborative. The meeting will hold in Lagos on April 27th and 28th, 2023, and will provide an opportunity for Nigerian universities to learn about The Collaborative’s mission and goals and explore possible ways to engage with the network as well as develop cross-institution collaborations.

The Education Collaborative is a network of higher education institutions across Africa, collectively working to improve educational systems and student outcomes on the continent. The Collaborative operates along the key focus areas of entrepreneurship development, career and employability, ethics and leadership development, and faculty development and research. The Collaborative takes a bottom-up approach, where regional hubs drive context-relevant programs and solutions for higher education stakeholders in the region.

The aim of the Nigerian Institutions meeting is to establish the West-Africa Hub of The Education Collaborative. The meeting is being convened to bring together anchor institutions in Nigeria to network, share their strategic focus areas and strengths, learn about current and active programs in The Collaborative, and explore possible ways to engage in the network as well as develop cross-institution collaborations.

As a leading institution in Nigeria, we are inviting other university leaders in the development of this initiative and engagement across Nigeria and West-Africa, and we look forward to welcoming you to the meeting.

To confirm your participation or for further inquiries, kindly contact Uchenna Ozor at uozor@wpdev.pau.edu.ng or Rita A. Dugbenu at rdugbenu@ashesi.edu.ng.

We urge all interested institutions to take advantage of this unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of higher education in Africa. Let us work together to build lasting systems and practices as centres of excellence in Africa.
