Faculty Internship Visit

As part of our ongoing commitment to the success of our talents and the promotion of hands-on learning, our faculty remains committed to ensuring that our interns excel in their industry placements. Recently, one of faculty supervisors, Rosemary Okolo, visited her supervisees—Christabel Ofili, Chidera Ogbuchi, and Olise Ishioma at “PecanTrust Microfinance Bank,” and Motunrayo Sanni at “Ecobank Nigeria.” These visits aimed to assess the progress of each intern, evaluate their performance, and ensure they are gaining valuable real-world experience. These check-ins not only offer interns reassurance and support but also provide critical insights into their development and help foster stronger ties between academia and the corporate world.

Supervisors play a pivotal role in bridging this gap, ensuring interns receive the mentorship and guidance they need to thrive in their roles. The active involvement of the supervisors at both “PecanTrust Microfinance Bank” and “Ecobank Nigeria” reflects a dedication to grooming interns into well-rounded professionals. Regular performance evaluations allow both parties to exchange valuable feedback, ensuring that the interns are not only meeting industry standards but also learning in a way that complements their academic journey.

Through these industry placements, our interns are gaining critical professional skills while making meaningful contributions to their host organizations. This blend of academic knowledge and practical experience creates a path for sustainable career growth, enabling our talents to transition confidently into the professional world. We are proud to continue fostering a culture of mentorship and industry engagement, setting the stage for the next generation of leaders and innovators.
