Overview

The M.Sc in Management (MiM) is an 18-month, full-time, in-person programme. It is designed for recent graduates and young professionals looking to kick-start their careers in management.

It is a specialised degree with a research-focused curriculum that enables you to develop the critical thinking skills needed to address business problems. Upon completion of the programme, you will have gained the knowledge, skills, and expertise to develop solid business recommendations rooted in research.
In addition to being research-oriented, the curriculum incorporates practical industry insights, ensuring real-world applicability. By the end of the programme, you will also be prepared for advanced graduate degrees such as a PhD

Specialisation Tracks

The programme has been developed to allow for in-depth specialisation. Participants have the option of choosing any one of the following core areas:

Entry Requirements

• Undergraduate degree: Minimum of a second-class lower university degree
or a Higher National Diploma together with a postgraduate diploma from a
recognised institution.
• O’Levels: 5 Credit passes, including English and Mathematics
• Entrance Exam: LBS Entrance Exam.
• In-Person Assessment: Interview to evaluate intellectual capacity,
professionalism, maturity, and motivation.

Letters from two referees (one of whom should know the applicant in an academic capacity)
Copy of O’ Levels Results
Proof of University Degree
A recent passport photograph taken within the last six months
In case of self-sponsorship, please provide three months bank statement

Fees and Payment Plans

The tuition fee is NGN8,400,000 (Eight million, four hundred thousand Naira only) and can be paid in 4 instalments.

All instalments must be completed within the first 12 months.

The tuition is also subject to a review without notice.

Graduation Requirements

The following regulations shall govern the conditions for the award of Master
of Science (MSc) degree;
(a) Candidates should have registered for a minimum of 45 units of courses.
(b) Candidates must have registered and passed all the compulsory courses
specified for the programme

The minimum number of Earned Credit Hours for graduation:
To graduate, the candidates must have passed a minimum of 33 units (which
must include the compulsory units).
Core Courses: 27 Credit Units
Elective Courses: 12 Credit Units
Dissertation: 6 Credit Units
Total: 45 Credit Units

Minimum No. of years for Graduation: One and half-year
