Innovation is thriving on our campus, and the Tech Innovation Club (TIC) would like to invite you to its flagship event — TIC Hackathon 2.0: “Reimagining Today with AI.”
The hackathon will run from October 24–25, 2025, at the Abuja Classroom, and will challenge students to develop real-world solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence within just 24 hours.
For those new to the concept, a hackathon is an innovation sprint — a collaborative event where students from diverse disciplines work in teams to identify problems, brainstorm creative ideas, and rapidly build functional prototypes. It’s an exciting way to learn, innovate, and apply classroom knowledge to solve real challenges.
This year’s competition features 20 student teams, selected from 27 applications, many drawn from our new 70+ Tech Innovation Club members, who emerged from over 263 applications to join the club. These teams will compete for a ₦1,000,000 prize pool, with guidance and evaluation from an esteemed panel of judges, including AWS Hero, Ewere Diagboya.
