UN Agencies Engage Pan-Atlantic Students in Dynamic Dialogue on Global Challenges

Marking United Nations Day with purpose, the Department of Communication, Media and Cultural Studies at Pan-Atlantic University organised an interactive session featuring representatives from diverse UN agencies.

Our 300- and 400-level Mass Communication students, alongside select Strategic Communication students, engaged directly with representatives from various UN agencies in a lively and eye-opening conversation at Abuja Hall.

Aligned with Pan-Atlantic University’s commitment to experiential learning, this event offered a rare, hands-on opportunity to connect classroom theory with global realities. The session sparked in-depth conversations about the UN’s mission, principles, and worldwide contributions and participants aslo examined the potential of communication in propelling sustainable development and humanitarian initiatives, bridging classroom concepts with international realities.

Events like these reinforces Pan-Atlantic University’s dedication to nurturing globally aware communicators ready to tackle pressing world issues.
