Energy Research Group

The Energy Research Group (ERG) is an interdisciplinary research-based and educational initiative at the School of Science and Technology, Pan-Atlantic University. Our mission is to focus on securing sustainable pathways for energy production, utilisation, delivery, and conversion. By developing novel materials and processes, ERG aim to bridge the gap between applied engineering and basic sciences, covering the entire research process, from early laboratory work to large-scale industrial production.

Research Themes & Focus

· Energy Systems and Thermal Management: Focusing on heat transfer methods, phase change cooling, etc.

· Fluid Dynamics: Focusing on viscous drag reduction, laminar flow control, and novel flow control techniques for various applications.

· Sustainable Energy Systems: Focusing on renewable energy technologies, energy storage, etc.

· Energy and Society: Focusing on energy governance, energy transitions, energy demand, energy policy, etc.

· Power Systems Analysis and Power Quality: Focusing on load flow studies, harmonic analysis, etc.
