Covenant University Students visit the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Arts.

On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, 73 students and 8 lecturers from Covenant University’s Department of Language and General Studies embarked on a captivating journey through the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Arts at Pan-Atlantic University.
This visit marked an incredible opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in the rich world of Nigerian art and expand their artistic horizons.
The students went on a tour of the museum’s diverse collection of artworks under the guidance of knowledgeable museum staff. From traditional sculptures to contemporary paintings, the students engaged with each piece, unravelling the stories and cultural significance behind them.
The visit fostered a dynamic environment for learning and interaction. Students actively participated in discussions, exchanging insights and perspectives on the artworks. The museum’s vibrant ambience served as a backdrop for thought-provoking conversations and a deeper appreciation of Nigerian art.
