MTN Nigeria and Pan-Atlantic University Commence the Second Edition of the Media Innovation Programme (MIP).

MTN Nigeria in partnership with Pan-Atlantic University has commenced the second edition of the MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP). This ground-breaking initiative aims to empower media practitioners in Nigeria with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in an ever-evolving media landscape.
The six-week-long programme spread across six months will provide participants with comprehensive training on utilizing technology to create impactful media content. By embracing innovation and equipping media practitioners with advanced tools and techniques, MIP will foster sustainability and drive excellence within the media industry. As the media landscape continues to transform at a rapid pace, it has become crucial for professionals to stay ahead of the curve. MIP is designed to bridge the gap between traditional media practices and the digital age, ensuring that participants gain a deep understanding of emerging trends, best practices, and innovative approaches to media production.
Through a series of workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of media innovation. These include leveraging cutting-edge technologies, understanding audience behaviour and engagement, data-driven storytelling, social media marketing, and much more. By honing these skills, media practitioners will be equipped to deliver compelling and influential content that resonates with today’s dynamic audiences.
The collaboration between Pan-Atlantic University, renowned for its academic excellence, and MTN Nigeria, a leading telecommunications provider, brings together the best of academia and industry expertise. By pooling resources and knowledge, both organizations are committed to shaping the future of the media landscape in Nigeria. The focus on exploring the convergence between ICT and the media could not have come at a better time than now for Nigerian media practitioners, given the existing skill gap in this area.
Fully funded by MTN Nigeria, the MIP will build the capacity of Nigerian media practitioners through training and exposure to real-life case studies that can birth innovative ideas that will enable them to lead outstanding media careers.
