Dr Benedict Ebubedike Okafor
Dr Okafor is an Adjunct Lecturer at PAU. He holds a PhD in Accountancy and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also an Associate member of both the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (Austin TX, USA) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
He has been in active accounting practice since May 1983, running the accounting firm of his late father to date. He has in this capacity served as external auditor to numerous public and private organizations. He has served as Tax Consultant to both State and Federal Governments. He has carried out numerous fraud investigations and forensic audits. He is an active player in the liquidation process, having several appointments as receiver for the High Court of Nigeria.
He has executed numerous training programmes on matters of accounting with the Nigeria Labour Congress, Nigeria Union of Teachers, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, Public Service International. He has lectured in Fraud Management and Forensic Accounting in Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
