Chike Mgbeadichie
Dr. Chike Mgbeadichie is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria, where he teaches Cultural Analysis and Critical Thinking.
He holds a PhD in English (Culture and Literature) from the University of Exeter, UK, an MA in Literature in English (African Literature and Culture) from the University of Leeds, UK, and a First-Class honours BA degree in English from Anambra State University, Nigeria.
His principal research interests are in African Literature, Culture and Media Studies, African Critical Theory, Media-in-African Literature, Migration Discourses, and a subsidiary research interest in film.
He is a member of the African Literature Association (ALA), African Cultural Association, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Literary Society of Nigeria (LSN), Igbo Studies Association (ISA), etc. He has recently served as a reviewer for a special issue of the Journal of African Media Studies on the corona pandemic, culture and the media.
