Stanley Nwani
Mr. Stanley Nwani teaches Economics at the School of Management and Social Sciences (SMSS). His core teaching areas include Statistics for Economics and Business, Statistical and Quantitative Research Methods, Labour, Health, and Environmental Economics. He also lectures at the School of Media and Communication (SMC), where he teaches Statistical and Quantitative Research Methods to the Master’s class.
Before joining SMSS, he was a Research Assistant at the Lagos Business School and Headed the Human Resources and Safety Department at GreenTech Industries Limited, Nigeria. He has worked as a teaching assistant at the Lagos State University (LASU) and taught Research Methods, Econometrics, and Statistics to Open University students at Liberty Academy.
He bagged his Bachelor’s degree (Economics & Statistics) from the University of Benin, Nigeria, his Masters from LASU (Distinction), and is currently studying for a Doctorate Degree in the same institution. Stanley has attended several conferences and training in research and teaching skills. He attended the “2020” Global School of Empirical Research Methods at St. Gallen University, Switzerland.
His research interests include health and ecological economy, human capital development, and environmental sustainability.
