Dr. Stanley Ibeku

Dr. Stanley Ibeku is a research consultant, data and information scientist, and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MERL) specialist with extensive experience in research, entrepreneurship development, innovation, and impact measurement. He currently leads the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) at Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria, where he also facilitates executive and undergraduate sessions in entrepreneurship, innovation, venture creation, impact measurement, and social enterprise.
Dr. Ibeku holds a Doctorate in Data and Information Science, specialising in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies, from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he also obtained a Master of Information Science. Originally trained as an engineer at Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), he has developed a multidisciplinary career at the intersection of data, innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and development.
He has undertaken research and consultancy assignments, including multi-country engagements, for organisations such as the British Council, Mastercard Foundation, Oxfam Novib, AFFORD-UK, and the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN). He also served as National Consultant on the evaluation of Participating Financial Institutions and MSMEs for the Development Bank of Nigeria and Impact Credit Guarantee Limited.
Dr. Ibeku has contributed to scholarly research through publications in academic outlets and has presented his work at local and international conferences across Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Spain, the Netherlands, and Sweden. His interdisciplinary background enables him to connect data and evidence with entrepreneurship, innovation and development practice, supporting organisations to translate knowledge and insights into practical strategies, programmes and measurable outcomes
