The Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) held its 9th Matriculation Ceremony on January 21, 2023, at the Honeywell Group Auditorium of the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. Students arrived in colourful batches as early as 8:30 AM, ready to become official members of the PAU community.
This year’s matriculation ceremony set a new record for PAU, with the highest number of students admitted in one academic session. 524 students. They set the record with 524 matriculants with a respective number of 140 SMC students; 68 students in Mass Communication, 72 students in Information Science and Media Studies, 170 SMSS students; 46 students in Accounting, 47 students in Business Administration, 72 students in Economics and 4 students in Finance, 215 SST students; 138 students in Computer Science, 37 students in Mechanical Engineering and 40 students in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
The students were divided according to their schools: The School of Media and Communication, the School of Management and Social Science, and the School of Science and Technology. Each school had its scrolls presented to the Vice-Chancellor by their respective deans, officially making the students members of the University.
The ceremony was attended by proud parents, and guests who celebrated with the matriculating students.
