Samuel Oyefusi has made an impressive start to his internship journey at NLNG. Working in the Pipeline and Gas Supply Department, he has quickly immersed himself in the intricate and dynamic world of oil and gas.
From the very beginning, Samuel has engaged with various units within the department, gaining valuable hands-on experience in ensuring the smooth operation of gas transport from different nodes to the Bonny plant. His keen interest in problem-solving has already led him to identify several complex engineering challenges. He has ambitious plans to integrate robotics into daily operations, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and productivity in critical areas such as maintenance, security, monitoring, and even the cleaning of pipelines and facilities across Nigeria.
Samuel’s transition into the professional world has been smooth, largely because his work environment at NLNG has been a natural fit for him—very similar to what he’s used to on campus. This seamless transition has allowed him to be productive right from the start, and he’s eager to further develop his skills in areas such as engineering simulation and design, corrosion control, project management, critical thinking, leadership, and business management throughout his internship.
With his innovative mindset and determination, Samuel is set to make a significant impact at NLNG. As he continues to build on his already impressive skill set, we can’t wait to see the amazing things he will accomplish by the end of his internship.
