The university’s main campus recently hosted a vibrant Mastercard Foundation Storytelling Session, bringing together Mastercard Foundation Scholars and representatives from the Mastercard Foundation for an engaging and impactful event.
The session provided a valuable platform for scholars to reflect on their journeys, share personal stories, and reconnect with the core mission of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Representatives from the Foundation reminded scholars that the initiative is designed to cultivate transformative leadership and drive positive change by giving back to their host communities and home countries.
Scholars were strongly encouraged to share their personal experiences and achievements through storytelling. They were advised to intentionally weave the Mastercard Foundation’s core values, such as inclusivity, integrity, and commitment to community impact, into their narratives.
