September 13, 2023 marked a significant day for Year 2 students from the School of Science and Technology at Pan-Atlantic University as they embarked on the final leg of their Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme 1 (SIWES 1) journey. The students showcased their hard work and innovation during a series of compelling presentations, providing a glimpse into the future of technology and industry.

Olivia Ezeh, a 200 level student from the Department of Mass Communication, has emerged as the winner of the 2023 Green Stories Writing Competition. Organized by the University of Southampton and overseen by Professor Denise Baden in Sustainable Business, along with the expertise of Carole Burns, Head of Creative Writing, and Dr. Aiysha Jahan, a published writer from the University of Southampton, this competition aimed to foster creativity in addressing climate change through storytelling.

In a bid to expand its academic offerings, our School of Science and Technology recently underwent a rigorous resource assessment verification process conducted by the National University Commission (NUC). The assessment, which took place from Wednesday, August 16, to Friday, August 18, 2023, aimed to evaluate the university’s readiness and capacity to introduce new programmes.
