| The start of the year signals more than just a new calendar; it marks a new beginning for the Class of 2029, as we gather this Saturday to officially induct them into the PAU community. The Ceremony Schedule The ceremony will be conducted in three sessions beginning at 9:00 AM. Each session is to celebrate specific academic departments. Students are expected to arrive at the venue one hour prior to their start time: 9:00 AM Session: Finance, Electrical Engineering, Mass Communication, Data Science, and Mechanical Engineering. 10:30 AM Session: Strategic Communication, Computer Science, Business Administration, Film & Multimedia Studies, and Mechatronics Engineering. 12:00 PM Session: Accounting, Software Engineering, Economics, and Information Science and Media Studies (ISMS). Information for Guests and Families Attendance is strictly by invitation. In other to ensure a seamless experience, the University has implemented an access code system, allowing each matriculating student to invite up to two guests. While students will be seated in the main hall, guests will be hosted in comfortable viewing centers on campus equipped with live screens to watch the proceedings in real-time. For family members and friends across the globe, they can live stream the event here. Academic Regalia and Protocols The University reminds all students that the collection of matriculation robes will commence two days before the ceremony. Robes must be returned to course coordinators between January 19th and 21st to avoid late penalties. As this is a formal academic tradition, the University’s strict dress code remains in effect. Male students are required to wear full suits and ties, while female students are expected to appear in formal corporate or traditional attire. While the ceremony venue is reserved for adults to maintain a quiet atmosphere, the University has designated specific areas across the campus grounds for families to gather and celebrate with children following the sessions. Official group photography will take place at the SST Foyer. We congratulate our new students on this significant step in their academic journey. Welcome to Pan-Atlantic University! |
