On the evening of Tuesday, 16 June 2026, reports were received of unidentified individuals sighted within a green area of the University campus. Upon receiving the report, the University’s Security Unit immediately activated established internal and external response protocols.
Security agencies responded promptly and professionally, undertaking necessary measures to engage and monitor the situation. Their continued presence and vigilance underscore the collective commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all members of the University community.
The University expresses its sincere appreciation to the various security agencies for their swift intervention, dedication, and ongoing efforts in safeguarding the campus. Pan-Atlantic University also acknowledges and commends its students, staff, residents, and stakeholders within the Ibeju-Lekki community for their vigilance, cooperation, and steadfast support throughout the situation.
