Dr Olaniyi Evans
Olaniyi Evans is a Nigerian economist, a public policy analyst, and a university lecturer teaching at Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria. He is a recipient of the 2009 University of Lagos Certificate of Excellence and the 2019 Emerald Literati Award for the Highly Commended Article. Evans is known in academia for his work on public policy, digital economy (including ICT, cryptocurrency, and digital finance), financial inclusion, tourism, and dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) modeling from the African economy perspective. He earned his BSc first class, MSc distinctions and went on to pursue a Ph.D. all in economics from the University of Lagos. Evans is the author of increasingly cited scholarly works and textbooks and has published a substantial number of scholarly articles in top-rated academic journals and edited volumes. He is the managing editor of the prestigious open-access peer-reviewed scholarly journal: BizEcons Quarterly.
Areas of research interest include digital economy, public policy analysis, financial inclusion, tourism, and Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) Models
