On Saturday, August 2nd, the 2025/26 inaugural cohort of PAU SEED received more than just their typical lesson; they experienced a boost of encouragement and recognition.
During a routine class session, the students were pleasantly surprised by an unexpected visit from the Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Olowa Abdullahi Sesan. His unannounced appearance created excitement throughout the room and, more importantly, reinforced the local government’s ongoing commitment to the programme.
What is PAU SEED?
PAU SEED is a community engagement initiative of Pan-Atlantic University in collaboration with the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Council of Lagos State. This program partners with several NGOs, including the AIFA Reading Society, Hacey on Girl Child Healthcare and Education, and Rockstreet Soft Skills Empowerment, to improve the success rate of senior secondary school students in Ibeju-Lekki.

Mr. Frank Wiggle, the head of community relations at Pan-Atlantic University, oversees the initiative. It also involves lecturers and students who volunteer their time to teach and mentor participants across various subjects.
A recent visit from the chairman was more than just a pleasant surprise; it was a significant moment that reinforced the idea that leadership is actively engaged in supporting our communities and working together to build a stronger future.
