Appointment of an Acting Dean for the School of Media and Communication

Announcing the Passing of Dr Mike Okolo

With heavy hearts but with total submission to the will of God, we announce the passing away of Dr Michael Okolo, the Dean of the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University. He was born on March 8, 1961, and passed away on June 5, 2022.

Dr Okolo joined Pan-Atlantic University in 2004 as the Corporate Affairs Manager of the University. In 2006, he moved to become a pioneer member of the newly formed Centre for Media and Communication (CMC) and played a key role in the Centre’s establishment.

PAU Welcomes The Spanish Ambassador

The Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria, Juan Ignacio Sell, paid a courtesy visit to Pan-Atlantic University on Friday, April 8, 2022. Dr Jess Castelotte, Director of the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art (YSMA), received the Ambassador on his arrival. He also had a short meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Enase Okonedo, alongside Dr Jess Castelotte, to discuss various areas of interest. The University has maintained a long-standing relationship with the Kingdom of Spain.

Pan-Atlantic University Celebrates International Women’s Day

On March 25, 2022, Pan-Atlantic University organised a series of events to commemorate the 2022 International Women’s Day. The theme of the event was #BreakTheBias. Activities to mark the day included free health screening, a health talk, a panel discussion, and more. Students, staff, faculty members, alumni, and other guests took part in the different activities for commemorating the day.
