Pan-Atlantic University recently hosted a successful tree-planting event in collaboration with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) and Pernod Ricard Nigeria (PRN). The event, which took place on June 15th, showcased our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, with active participation from our dedicated students from the Living Green Club.
During the opening ceremony, we gratefully acknowledged the invaluable support and partnership of NCF and PRN, emphasizing the significance of collaboration in addressing environmental challenges effectively.
The participants, including the enthusiastic members of the Living Green Club, actively participated in the tree-planting activities led by our skilled horticulturists. Together, we prepared the soil, planted the trees, and ensured they received proper watering, nurturing their growth and vitality.
Our commitment to promoting sustainability remains resolute, and we eagerly anticipate future initiatives that will further contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Uchenna Achunine, Director of Business Development and Communications at the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, and Sola Okeyemi, Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Nigeria Limited, among others. We gratefully acknowledge the sponsorship of Pernod Ricard Nigeria Limited in partnership with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation for making this event possible.
