This year, Pan-Atlantic University hosted its largest career fair yet, themed Talent, Technology, and Transformation. The event welcomed twice as many companies as last year, including industry giants like Sahara Group, Computer Warehouse Group, Nestoil Limited, and Dangote Group. In his welcome address, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Dr. Peter Bamkole emphasised the importance of such events in preparing students for internships and their future careers. A panel session featuring ‘Femi Adeniran from Airtel Nigeria, Abike Wesey from Mutual Benefits Assurance, and Olabisi Omoregie from Fast Credit Ltd., highlighted key themes:
- Effective Communication: Consistent messaging across all levels.
- Leveraging Technology: On-the-go learning and collaborative workspaces.
- Work Culture: Openness and transparency foster loyalty.
The career fair itself was a whirlwind of activity. Our students actively engaged with company representatives, networking, sharing their CVs, and exploring potential career paths.
