Background:

Dr Stanley Emife Nwani, Senior Faculty at Pan-Atlantic University, holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics, a master’s degree, and a PhD in Economics. He is a non-resident Fellow and member of the Nigerian Economic Society, the Academy of African Business and Development (AABD), and a trained Researcher at the Global School of Empirical Research Methods (GSERM), St. Gallen University, Switzerland. He facilitates courses in Statistics, Econometrics, Research Methodology, Structure of the Nigerian Economy, and Mathematical Economics. His consulting assignments span the public and private sectors, including Ministries and Parastatals, Commercial Banks, MTN-NIP, and the British High Commission. His research interests include macroeconomic conditions, economics of health and environmental pollution in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. He serves as a reviewer for several highly ranked international journals and has published several articles and books. He co-authored the book “Structure of Nigeria’s Economy: A Modern Approach” and contributed to Global Cooperative Economics and Movements: A Research Companion. Dr Nwani is a volunteer public and economic analyst for 99.3 FM and a volunteer UNESCO Policy Lab expert on social and economic development for Sub-Saharan Africa.

 

Research interest: His research interests span macroeconomic conditions, economics of health and environmental pollution in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Dr Nwani is very proficient in the analysis of both primary, secondary, time series and panel data.

Teaching: Faculty leads courses in Statistics, Research Methodology, Data Analysis, Health Economics, and Mathematics.
