The Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria, Juan Ignacio Sell, paid a courtesy visit to Pan-Atlantic University on Friday, April 8, 2022. Dr Jess Castelotte, Director of the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art (YSMA), received the Ambassador on his arrival. He also had a short meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Enase Okonedo, alongside Dr Jess Castelotte, to discuss various areas of interest. The University has maintained a long-standing relationship with the Kingdom of Spain.
On March 25, 2022, Pan-Atlantic University organised a series of events to commemorate the 2022 International Women’s Day. The theme of the event was #BreakTheBias. Activities to mark the day included free health screening, a health talk, a panel discussion, and more. Students, staff, faculty members, alumni, and other guests took part in the different activities for commemorating the day.
The 12th Inaugural Lecture of Pan-Atlantic University was delivered by Professor Perekunah Bright Eregha on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Lekki Campus of the University.
The lecture titled Diamond in Despair: The Macroeconomist’s Frailty in Nigeria is an output of research carried out by the professor.
Our 8th matriculation ceremony took place on Friday, February 18, 2022, and Saturday, February 19, 2022. We officially welcomed our new intakes for Information Science and Media Studies, Accounting, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, and Mass Communication into Pan-Atlantic University. The ceremony took place at the Lekki Campus of the University and was attended by members of the PAU community and invited guests.
On February 23, 2022, PAU organised its 5th Career Fair at the main campus. The theme of the Career fair was; Culture of Excellence in the Workplace: Expectation vs Reality. Students of the University and organisations looking forward to hiring interns and graduates of Pan-Atlantic University attended the event.
